ArianMarie Moye
Hi, I'm ArianMarie Moye, a Las Vegas-based costume designer willing to travel.
I have designed experience in theater, opera, and films. I believe in creating characters through their wardrobe with subtlety and realism, giving audiences instant insight into the characters the moment we see them on stage or screen.
My goal and design philosophy is storytelling. For me, the colors, the cut, the flow, the texture, and the style all can subliminally or overtly point to something within the person's being. When getting to know the characters, I like to think about things I think about when I get ready. Do these characters put any thought and care into what they put on, or are they meticulous in their presentation? Are their clothes wrinkled or well-ironed? Are they disheveled? Are they more drawn to cool colors or warm colors? So much detail is there, making for a beautiful story and showing progression throughout the production.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater and Studio from Tabor College. A Master of Fine Art in Costume Design from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in May of 2023 and am excited to implement my newfound and improved skills to work.
